Holiday Wreath Bread
Can you believe that the holidays are almost here already?
This is my favorite time of the year because of the time spent together with family and friends…and of course all the fun food!
This holiday season I wanted to create a party appetizer that would look awesome at our family’s Christmas dinner, and that’s how this holiday wreath bread was born!
We stuffed this delicious pull apart garlic bread with creamy Borden® Cheese. When you tear off a piece of the bread wreath, you get lots of rich, melty cheese in every bite!
It’s absolutely heavenly!
The best part…this holiday wreath bread may look fancy, but it is one of the easiest appetizers I’ve ever made!
I’m not usually the one that does the cooking in our family (my husband got all the talent in that department), but this is a recipe that I created myself.
If I can make this recipe…anyone can! Promise!
Braided Bread Wreath Ingredients
- 2 bags Borden® Cheese Shreds (Mild or Sharp Cheddar, Monterrey Jack)
- 6 cans refrigerated crescent dough
- Garlic powder
- Chopped parsley, for garnish
- Grated parmesan cheese, for garnish
How to Make a Holiday Bread Wreath
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Remove crescent dough from packaging and roll out into sheets.
Place a generous amount of Borden® Cheese Shreds along one side of the dough.
We love Borden® Cheese because it comes from a cooperative of family-owned dairy farms — and you can truly taste the genuine love and care in every deliciously cheesy bite!
Crafted with high-quality, wholesome ingredients, each serving of Borden® Cheese contains 6-7 grams of protein. Plus, it’s a good source of calcium!
When cheese is the star of the recipe, you definitely want to go with the best, and that’s why we use Borden® Cheese for all of our holiday recipes. Click here to find it in a store near you!
Once you’ve got your crescent dough piled with lots of cheese — trust me, the cheesier, the better — begin rolling the dough up into a log-shape, tucking the cheese in the middle of the roll.
Take two rolls and wrap them around each other like a braid, then place onto a pizza stone. Repeat until you have a full bread wreath on your stone.
Bake for 25 minutes, the remove from oven.
Spread melted butter on top of the bread wreath, the sprinkle with parmesan cheese and chopped parsley.
For easier sharing, cut wreath into slices.
