This is a buttery cookie that’s packed with bright maraschino cherries and dark chocolate chips. With a hint of almond flavor and sweetened condensed milk baked into the batter.
Drain the maraschino cherries and pat dry with paper towel. Chop into halves or quarters and set aside. In bowl of stand mixer, cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
Add sweetened condensed milk and almond extract and mix until creamy. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and a pinch of salt, mix until combined.
