  • 1 pound chicken tenderloins grilled
  • 4 Tablespoons honey
  • 3 Tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 1/2 cups Irish stout beer
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 10 cloves garlic diced and fried

To prepare the chicken:

  1. Grill fresh chicken tenderloins, or use pre-cooked to save time.

To make the Honey Stout Glaze:

  1. Set aside 1/2 cup stout in a small mixing bowl.
  2. Combine honey, brown sugar, and remaining 2 cups stout in a saucepan over medium heat. Allow to simmer for 15 minutes.
  3. While sauce on stove reduces, add cornstarch to the 1/2 cup of stout you have set aside in mixing bowl. Whisk until fully combined.
  4. Add your cornstarch mixture to saucepan and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and allow to thicken.

Put it all together:

  1. Coat grilled chicken tenders with glaze, as much as desired.

  2. Finish with crispy fried garlic for an extra kick.
