Instructions
To make the cake pops:
Combine crumbled cake and white frosting in a large mixing bowl. Fold together until well incorporated.
Roll cake mixture into 2-inch balls and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a non-stick silicone baking mat. This should make about 12 cake pops.
Melt the white chocolate according to package directions and dip the end of each lollipop stick into it. Push the chocolate end of each stick into a cake ball and set them in the freezer for about 20 minutes.
Now decorate your cake pops galaxy style:
Melt each color candy melt in its own separate bowls.
Drizzle some of each color chocolate over the top of the melted white chocolate. Spread them out so all the colors are visible, as well as the white chocolate beneath them.
Dip each cake pop into the melted chocolate until it is completely coated. Allow excess chocolate to drip back into bowl. Sprinkle your cake pop with the gold stars and/or silver sugar.
Allow chocolate coating to set completely, drying upright if possible.
