Add one shot (about 2 ounces) of espresso to your container of Dave's Gourmet Overnight Oats, along with 2 Tablespoons of almond milk (or milk of choice).
Stir with a spoon to make sure the liquid reaches the bottom and that all the oats are coated evenly.
Cover and refrigerate overnight (or a minimum of 4 hours). This allows the oats to "cook" and the flavors to fully soak in.
When you're ready to enjoy, uncover and stir with a spoon to distribute flavors. Top with coffee chocolate drizzle for an extra boost (recipe below).
If you prefer warm cereal, microwave for about 30 seconds. However, these espresso overnight oats taste just as amazing cold!
For the Coffee Chocolate Drizzle:
Add 2 ounces of hot espresso and 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips to a double boiler over medium heat or microwave-safe mixing bowl. Whisk together until chocolate melts into the espresso and the sauce thickens.
Drizzle over your espresso overnight oats for even more rich coffee flavor. Any leftover sauce can be stored in a sealed container in the fridge for next time.
