Ingredients
1lbsmoked sausagebeef or pork
1/2lbdry chorizo sausagechopped
64ounceschicken broth
1bunch Kalechopped
4Potatoescubed (any type)
1cupcarrotssliced
1Leek stalkthinly sliced
1whole onionquartered
1TBfresh garlicchopped
1TBgarlic powder
1TBonion powder
1/2teaspoonsalt
1/2teaspoonpepper
Instructions
Add onions, leeks, sausage and chorizo to a large soup pot on medium heat. Saute in a tablespoon of cooking oil until onions start to brown.
Add potatoes, carrots, kale, broth, garlic, garlic powder, and onion powder to pot and cook covered on medium-low heat for about 45 minutes. Add salt & pepper to taste before serving.
