– bacon – maple syrup – brown sugar – black pepper

Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil. Cut the bacon strips in half and arrange them on the prepared pan, without overlapping.

In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, brown sugar, and black pepper.

Brush the maple sugar mixture on top of the bacon. Flip each piece of bacon to brush the bottom side too.

Bake for 18-20 minutes, until bacon is crispy.
