Ingredients
18Oreo cookiescrushed
4oz.Cream Cheesesoftened
1cupRed candy melts
¼cupMiniature chocolate chips
36Candy googly eyes
Instructions
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or non-stick silicone baking mat and set aside.
Use a food processor to chop Oreo cookies into fine crumbs, then pour into a large mixing bowl.
Add softened cream cheese and fold into the Oreo crumbs until both ingredients are well combined and you have a dough-like consistency.
Roll the cream cheese cookie mixture into small ovals, about 2 inches in length and 1 inch in diameter.
Place each truffle on your prepared baking sheet and chill in fridge for about an hour.
Place red candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring between each heating, until melted and smooth.
Dip each truffle ¾ of the way into the melted candy and place back onto the lined baking sheet.
Sprinkle a few mini chocolate chips on each truffle, gently pressing into the still-wet red coating.
Add a dot of melted red chocolate onto the back of two candy eyes to act as "glue," then press the eyes onto the black part of your ladybug. Repeat with each truffle.
Allow to set for at least 30 minutes.
