Ingredients

white cake mix

eggs

vegetable oil
Green food coloring

unsalted butter
room temperature

powdered sugar

heavy cream
or milk

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F and line two muffin pans with cupcake liners.
Prepare the cupcake batter according directions on the box.
Stir green food coloring into the batter until it is a bright green color.
Pour batter into prepared pan, filling the cups no more than 2/3 of the way full.
Bake at 350 for 15-18 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow cupcakes to cool completely.
Frosting Directions
Add softened butter to the bowl of a stand mixer or large bowl with an electric hand mixer and cream until smooth.
Add the powdered sugar one cup at a time and mix until well incorporated.
Add a splash of milk or heavy cream as needed until you have a smooth frosting that can hold a peak.
Add green food coloring and mix until the frosting is bright green.
To Decorate
Scoop the frosting into a piping bag with a star tip.
Arrange the cupcakes in a large circle. The outer circle should have 15 cupcakes, and the inner circle will have 9 cupcakes.
Pipe icing onto the cupcakes in a criss-cross design to look like a wreath texture.
Top with holiday sprinkles and a bow made with Twizzlers candy.
