Air Fryer Fried Ice Cream is a no-mess dessert dream, with creamy vanilla ice cream wrapped in a crispy cereal coating, no oil needed! Cooks in 2 minutes!

Form ice cream into scoops about 1 cup in size. Place scoops in a muffin tin and put pan in freezer for 1 hour.
Roll each ice cream ball in flour and put back in freezer for additional hour.
Crush cereal into crumbs and whisk egg whites until foamy. Dip each ice cream ball in egg whites, then roll in the cereal crumbs until fully coated. Place back in freezer for 4 hours, or overnight.
To Cook:
Heat air fryer to 350°F and line the basket with foil.
Place ice cream ball in air fryer and cook for 2 minutes, one at a time.
Enjoy immediately.

Cereal - When making the cereal crumbs, I find it easiest to place the cereal in a sealed freezer bag and run over it with a rolling pin, to keep the mess contained. You can alternatively use corn flakes instead of Cinnamon Toast Crunch.
Freezing the Ice Cream -If your ice cream tends to stick during freezing, simply line your muffin tin with plastic wrap before adding the scoops — this makes popping them out a breeze. Alternatively, you can freeze the ice cream balls in freezer-safe ramekins.
