Instructions
Cut a rectangle out of black cardstock that was slightly larger than a 4x6" photo. Glue child's photo on top of the cardstock.
Fold a piece of 8x11" silver cardstock in half, "hamburger style." Trim the corners of the cardstock so that they are rounded like a real laptop.
Use two small paper accordions to attach the photo to the top of the card. This gives the photo a little bit of a 3D look.
Cut out 29 rounded squares to be the laptop keys and one rounded rectangle for the space bar.
Glue keys to bottom half of laptop: 3 rows of 9 square keys, and then a 4th row that is the space bar and two square keys on either side.
Use a silver permanent marker to personalize the card by writing on the laptop keys: child's name, grade, school year, etc.
