Ingredients
1canSmall refrigerated cinnamon rolls8 count
8Fresh oranges
Instructions
Slice off the top 1/2 inch of each orange. Use a spoon to scrape between the orange flesh and rind, working around the whole orange, until you separate the fruit from the rind. Be sure to keep the rind in one piece so you have a bowl shape, and don't throw away the tops of the oranges!
Place one cinnamon roll inside each orange bowl.
Set the top of the orange on top on the cinnamon roll-filled orange, like a lid, and wrap tightly in a sheet of aluminum foil.
Place the foil covered oranges on the coals of a grill or campfire. You don't want it to be flaming hot, but you do need some glowing embers to cook the cinnamon rolls. Bake them in the campfire or grill for about 20 minutes, using grill tongs to turn them about halfway through.
Check for doneness at 15-20 minute mark. When dough is cooked, remove from heat, allow to cool enough to handle, unwrap, and enjoy!
