Recreate Starbucks' popular Iced Matcha Lemonade at home with this easy recipe, delivering a refreshing blend of vibrant matcha green tea and tangy lemonade.
Sift the matcha powder into a small bowl with the hot water, to dissolve.
Use a hand frother or traditional bamboo matcha whisk (as we did) to stir the matcha until it forms a thick paste. Set aside to cool.
Add the cold water, lemon juice and honey (to taste) to a large pitcher or mason jar. Stir well to combine. If using a mason jar, you can seal and shake to mix.
Once the matcha paste has cooled to room temperature, whisk into the lemonade mixture until fully dissolved and incorporated, making sure to break up any clumps.

To Serve - When you are ready to enjoy your homemade matcha lemonade, pour into a glass of ice cubes. Garnish with a fresh lemon wedge.
Storage - Keep refrigerated until ready to serve. Some separation is normal, simply shake well before serving. Your homemade matcha lemonade should stay good in the fridge for 2-3 days; wait to add ice until you pour into glasses.
Lemonade - While we made our own, you can absolutely use store-bought lemonade in this recipe. I recommend using a sweet lemonade to balance out the earthiness of the matcha.
