Combine liquid ingredients in a large punch bowl. If you'd like your punch to be a deeper shade of green, stir in a few drops of green food coloring.
Add scoops of sherbet and lime slices, so that the float on top and are evenly spaced in the bowl.
Scoop punch into serving glasses, making sure to get some of the sherbet with each cup.
