Positive Parenting Tips
When I was pregnant with my first daughter, I started reading pregnancy and parenting books. But I hated them all!
What really bugged me was that many of the "experts" prescribed a one-size-fits-all solution for parenting issues. And we all know that's not how it works in real life!
I started The Soccer Mom Blog as a source of encouragement for my fellow moms and to share ideas that worked for me. I figured that it would just be my family reading the blog, but little by little, total strangers started reaching out.
I love what I do, and I'm far from being an "expert" myself! I'm just a mom that's kind of winging it and half the time I feel like I'm figuring things out as I go.
But when a reader emails to let me know that a post I wrote truly made a difference in their life, well THAT makes it all worthwhile and is the most rewarding part of this whole blogging thing!
