I love a good Monte Cristo sandwich, but it’s not something I eat very often because it’s fried. However, my husband owns a pressed sandwich food truck and he offered to make me a grilled version (at home!) that’s just as tasty (without all the grease!)

The "smarter" Monte Cristo Sandwich (grilled, not fried!) that's so delicious you'll want it this way every time! So easy you can make it at home!

Grilled Monte Cristo Sandwich Recipe

I was surprised by just how simple it was to make this grilled Monte Cristo sandwich recipe — we have a small kitchen sandwich press, but you could just as easily use a skillet or flat pan on the stove too.

Here’s what you need for this yummy Grilled Monte Cristo Sandwich recipe:

  • 4-5 slices Oscar Mayer Selects Natural Applewood Smoked Ham
  • 4-5 slices Oscar Mayer Selects Natural Applewood Smoked Turkey Breast
  • 2 slices Swiss cheese
  • 2 slices sweet Hawaiian bread
  • 1 TB Dijon mustard
  • 1 TB raspberry jam

(Amounts are for one sandwich/one serving)
