How to Throw a Mess-Free Birthday Party for Kids

Birthday

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Chuck E. Cheese’s for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.

I’ve been on a kick this week writing about mess-less activities for the kids, and today’s topic is how to throw a mess-free birthday party! (Yes, it is possible!)

Planning a birthday party doesn't have to be stressful! See our plan for a worry free party with no clean-up! #chuckecheese #ad

It is still months away, but Lilu has already been making plans for her next birthday party. I totally understand because I look forward to my birthday all year too! I could care less that I’m getting older — my birthday is the one day that I actually get to do exactly what I want! (Last year I asked for an hour and a half to do my extra-long yoga DVD…seriously! It was awesome!)

We try to accommodate Lilu’s wishes on her special day too, and Lilu has already decided that this year she wants to have her birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese’s. (She reminds me at least once a week!) Her school regularly hosts fundraising events at Chuck E. Cheese’s, and I think Lilu would go just about every single day if she could. It is one of her favorite places in town.

I can’t say that I blame her — I loved going to Chuck E. Cheese’s as a kid too! It’s a wonderland of lights, sounds, games, and fun! A handful of tokens lasts for our entire stay and she always ends up with more than enough tickets to redeem for multiple prizes. Each time we visit there are new games and attractions to try.

We almost always host everyone’s birthday parties at our house, and we love welcoming our family and friends into our home! But you know what? I’m liking the idea of not having to clean up a big mess afterwards when we celebrate at Chuck E. Cheese’s this year!

It can be a big production when we throw a party at our house: clean and prepare for guests, decorate, cook, and clean again. At Chuck E. Cheese’s you have a host to take care of all those details for you and make sure that the big day goes smoothly. That way mom and dad can relax and enjoy the party too! Daddy is the chef in the family and spends most of the day in the kitchen before and during a party, so it will be especially nice to have him join us.

Chuck E. Cheese’s might be known as a pizza place (and kids DO love the pizza!), but there are actually a lot of other food options for grown-ups too. There’s something for everyone, and again, the best part is there is no cooking or clean-up required!

Don’t get me wrong, I love that our house is usually celebration central. However, if this year Lilu wants to do something different and have a party at Chuck E. Cheese’s (one of her absolute favorite places) I’m happy to do that for her.

It’s a win-win situation in my book: the kids are entertained for hours and there’s no stress and no clean up for Mom and Dad! Visit Chuck E. Cheese’s online to find the location nearest you and book your next birthday party!
