Pineapple Card for Mother’s Day
Inside: A sunny and sweet Pineapple Card that’s perfect for Mother’s Day, birthdays, and more!
Paper Pineapple Card
This pineapple card is similar in style to our “Purr-fect” Cat Mother’s Day Card. I love this style because it spells out “MOM” and it is eye-catching and different than the standard rectangle card design.
This pineapple card is so pretty that you’ll want to display it year-round! With Mother’s Day being so close to summer, this pineapple-themed card is the perfect fit for Mother’s Day!
While we had Mother’s Day in mind when we made this, you could also tailor the message inside so it is a pineapple birthday card for mom too!
This craft is so easy to make and would be the perfect craft for kids of any age! Even your little ones can make this simple craft.
If you don’t want to do a pineapple, you could easily change the color scheme and the fruit to make it an orange or another fruit that she likes better!

DIY Pineapple Card Instructions
First print out the oval greeting template on regular printer paper. Click here for the free printable craft template.
Cut out your favorite greeting and glue it to yellow construction paper. Feel free to be as creative as you’d like here!
Now cut the yellow construction paper at the edge leaving a little bit showing.
Next make the pineapple crown but cutting 3 long leaves from green paper – free handing is easiest for this step. Group these paper leaves together and glue.
Repeat again so you have another group of 3 leaves. Stagger the 2 groups and glue them to the top to complete the pineapple’s crown.
Add a little detail to the pineapple by drawing little upside down V’s to the yellow construction paper oval. Give your pineapple some personality and add some eyes and a mouth.
To make some classic Kawaii style eyes, draw two big black circles on white paper. Inside each circle, make two more circles, one being a little smaller than the other. Fill in with black to complete.
The pineapple is complete, now lets work on the next step.
Print the MOM template on heavy cardstock. Now, fold it down making a crease at the top of the MOM letters. Trim around the edges, leaving the fold intact where the letters are.
Glue the pineapple in the center where the O should be. Color the Ms with the same upside-down V pattern or decorate as you wish.
Isn’t this pineapple card so cute??
