How to Save Money on Baby Items at Kroger

Family Budget and Money Saving Tips

Diapers and baby essentials shouldn’t break the bank! I’m thrilled to partner with Kroger (because we shop there at least once a week) to share some of the ways I save money on baby items.

Keep reading for my easy savings tricks that I use year-round, as well as a special $10 savings offer!

Diapers and baby essentials shouldn't break the budget! Try these 3 simple ways to save money on baby items when you shop at Kroger.

How to Save Money on Baby Items (and more) at Kroger

Stock up when there’s a sale

This is one of the main strategies my husband and I use for saving money on everything, and it’s no different when we want to save money on baby items!

For example, you could purchase a box of diapers ever week at their regular price of $30 (not an actual price – I chose a random, even number for my example). Perhaps one week that month there is a sale, and diapers are $5 off that week. Buying diapers once a week at whatever price they happen to be ends up costing you $115 that month.

However, if you wait and stock up for the month when diapers are on sale, you’ll save a significant amount. The week when diapers go on sale for $25 a box, you instead purchase 4 boxes at once. This totals $100 for the month, saving you $15.

Use your Kroger Card for extra savings

The Kroger Card has gone high-tech! In addition to enjoying Kroger Card prices on certain items while in the store, you can load up your card in advance with more savings!

I visit Kroger.com every week to check out the latest digital coupons and add the ones I need to my Kroger Card. All it takes is a simple click! During checkout, the coupons you loaded up are automatically applied to qualifying purchases. Yea, it’s pretty awesome! No more worrying about keeping track of paper coupons!

If you are able to combine a sale price with a Kroger Card coupon, you’ll see major savings!

Look for special promotions

One reason I love Kroger is that they regularly have special promotions that are actually useful. Sometimes you’ll see “sales” at other stores that make you buy 3 specific products (that you may or may not normally purchase) in order to get a special deal. If I have to buy something that I don’t use on a regular basis, then it’s not really a deal in my book!

This month Kroger features an awesome promotion on select baby items. Purchase $40 in qualifying products and receive up to $10 in savings!
