Inside: 3 epic and unique Father’s Day gift ideas for dads that love to cook. Sponsored by The Grommet.
My husband is the chef in the family — good thing, because I am not so talented in the kitchen!
Over the years he’s gotten almost every sort of kitchen appliance and apparatus for birthday, Christmas, Father’s Day, etc. Cooking is his favorite pastime, but it’s trickier now to find unique gift ideas that he likes and will use.
However, thanks to The Grommet, I found three one-of-a-kind Father’s Day Gift Ideas that my husband does not already own and I know he’ll love!
Gift Ideas for Dads that Love to Cook & Entertain
These three Father’s Day gift ideas are perfect for the dad that loves to cook and entertain at home or in the backyard. They’re super unique, so it’s almost guaranteed he’ll be totally surprised and excited!
1. Bonfire Steel Fire Pit by Solo Stove
This portable backyard fire pit is perfect for entertaining, or simply enjoying special moments together as a family. Crafted from stainless steel, the Solo Stove is built to last a lifetime; however it is lightweight enough to easily move around (when not in use).
We couldn’t wait to get ours set up and start making s’mores — it was the girls’ first time making them over a real fire!
How it works:
Simply add a few dry wooden logs to your Solo Stove and light. We used starter logs to help get the flame going quickly. Air comes in through vent holes at the bottom and rises between the walls to the holes at the top. This double-chamber design circulates preheated oxygen to fuel the flame, so your fire burns better and produces less smoke.
I loved watching the girls bond with their daddy, and I can already picture the years of memories we’ll have with our Solo Stove! This is the perfect gift for just about any dad who loves spending time in the backyard or patio.

2. The Sportula Classic Grilling Spatula
Growing up, we called my dad “the Grillmaster” — my husband definitely has earned the title too! And of course, you can’t have just any old tools for the “Grillmaster.”
The Sportula is grilling-sized and durable (made from hard maple wood and stainless steel). There’s even a built-in bottle opener, so dad never has to miss a beat while cooking at the tailgate or backyard barbecue!
The best part about the Sportula is that you can customize it so dad is always representing his team with a laser-cut logo on the spatula itself. Choose from any of the major-league teams or over 140 college teams, or even pick a favorite branch of the military.
3. Bear Paw Products Meat Handler and Shredder
“I wish I’d had these when I was on the truck!” One of my husband’s signature dishes on his food truck was the Cuban sandwich, which required making a lot of pork shoulder. Big pork shoulders that needed to be shredded every day to make the classic pressed sandwich!
It couldn’t be easier to shred large amounts of cooked meats then with your “Bear Paws,” plus it’s just downright fun!
