Go Barefoot! My Top 3 Tips for Smooth Feet

Self Care for Moms

These tips for smooth feet are part of a shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are 100% mine. #ByeByeBlisters #CollectiveBias

I’ve always enjoyed being physically active because I love how it makes me feel; however, I don’t love what it can do to my feet! Spending a lot of time in athletic shoes (especially if you’re running, jumping, and sweating) can leave you with rough skin and even blisters (yuck!) Living in a hot climate, I can’t hide my feet, so I have to find ways to keep them barefoot-ready at all times!

Are you on your feet all day? Do you work out often? Don't let your feet pay the price! Try these simple, effective tips for smooth feet. #ByeByeBlisters adMy Three (Easy) Tips for Smooth Feet:

Pick up a pumice stone

This is such a simple, but effective tool for getting rid of rough, dry skin on the bottom of your feet. They usually cost a couple bucks at the most and last for a long time. While in the shower, simply rub vigorously across heels and any other areas that need a little extra TLC. Twice a week ought to do the trick!

Follow up with coconut oil

As soon as I step out of the shower, I slather coconut oil all over my feet, paying special attention to the same areas I targeted with the pumice stone. I also reapply before bed and cover my feet with warm socks from the dryer to really encourage absorption. Coconut oil is my secret weapon for soft feet!

Heal blisters fast with COMPEED® Blister Medium Cushions

Despite all my efforts, sometimes I still end up with blisters after an especially intense workout or when I’m breaking in new shoes. I use COMPEED® Blister Medium Cushions to provide instant relief and protect blisters so they’ll heal quickly.

They come in a variety of sizes to fit all areas on your feet, but I prefer the medium size because it is perfect for the back of my ankles, which seem to be prone to rubbing. I especially love how you can hardly see them while on your foot — they’re almost invisible!

COMPEED® Blister Medium Cushions have been a “secret” used by European women for 30 years, but they’re now available in the United States, ONLY at Walgreens — I found them with other foot care items such as insoles.
