When it comes to jewelry, I like to keep it simple — perhaps that’s because as a mom of two very active girls, I don’t have a lot of time to spend planning my ensemble for the day! However, I do think that accessories add a bit of polish, so it appears that you made an effort (even if you just tossed something on!)
My secret when it comes to accessories is finding classic pieces that will coordinate with anything, so I don’t have to worry about trying to “match” jewelry to my outfit. I search for items that are contemporary, yet timeless, so I can wear them for season after season.
I’m already a fan of layering when it comes to clothes, so I’m all about this season’s stackable jewelry look. It was love at first sight when I found this Anne Klein box set, which comes with a dress watch and 2-3 coordinating bracelets. (Mine is a 4-piece set.)
I usually wear all 4 pieces together, though you can wear any combination or just one piece at a time. I just love how they all catch the light: the rich gold, shiny black enamel, sparkling Swarovski® crystals and how they jingle lightly on my wrist. It’s a bit of everyday luxury that I can pair with a simple T-shirt, work attire, or little black dress.
Perhaps the best part is that you don’t have to worry if the watch will fit or hassle with getting it re-sized. All of the pieces feature a removable jewelry clasp extender so you can easily customize the fit.
This particular set was a present for myself (hey, everyone deserves a little something now and then!) but it would make an amazing gift for a special lady in your life.
