White Claw Sparkling Lemonade
Light and refreshing, this White Claw Lemonade is a fizzy, festive, and fruity cocktail that’s perfect for any occasion!
Vodka Sparkling Lemonade (with White Claw)
White Claw has become incredibly popular over the last few years, and while it’s tasty on its own, we can make it better! While the lemon flavor is good, have you ever felt it wasn’t quite lemon-y enough? Well, this is the drink for you! Our White Claw Sparkling Lemonade recipe will have you refreshed in no time with how easy it is to make, and with such simple ingredients!
White Claw has become popular for its range of fruity flavors, light taste, and 100-calorie cans (for the 12oz size). It’s also gluten free!
While White Claw tastes fab on its own, it also makes a great cocktail mixer! Instead of using plain club soda, a sparkling seltzer adds flavor AND a little extra kick!
In case you’re wondering, you can use any similar spiked seltzer for this recipe (this is not a sponsored post or anything). White Claw is what we had on hand, but I know that a lot of my friends have their own favorite brands, like Truly, etc.

Directions
Prep your glasses by filling with ice and a couple lemon wheels.
Pour vodka, simple syrup, and lemonade into an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Shake vigorously for 5 seconds, then strain the chilled mixture into your cocktail glass.
Fill the rest of the drink with the sparkling lemon seltzer.
Feel free to garnish with additional lemon wedges or a sprig of fresh mint leaves.
Note: If you do not have a cocktail shaker you can use a cup or a jar with a lid, such as a mason jar.
Frequently Asked Questions
What Kind of Alcohol is in White Claw?
White Claw is a fermented malt beverage, more similar in style to beer than to a liquor/spirit like vodka. The original White Claw is 5% alc./vol. so it is similar to beer in that regard too.
Do You Need a Cocktail Shaker?
A cocktail shaker is a handy tool, especially for making one drink at a time.
When I’m making cocktails for a group, I will often use a large mason jar for mixing. I’ll increase ingredient amounts so that I fill the cocktail shaker, put the lid on the shaker, and mix (with NO ice).
With a mason jar full of the cocktail mixture, you can pour out individual servings as needed and add ice when serving.
For this spiked sparkling lemonade, I would also wait to add the seltzer until you pour individual servings. Shaking the seltzer in a cocktail shaker or mason jar is a recipe for everything to bubble up too much.
Can You Use Another Flavor of Seltzer?
Sure! Try berry-flavored to create a fruity berry lemonade drink! Strawberry, lime, grapefruit, and raspberry would all taste fantastic too!
