5-Ingredient Double Chocolate Caramel Crunch Brownies
This Double Chocolate Caramel Crunch Brownies recipe brought to you in collaboration with Save-A-Lot.
I realize it is quite the claim to call a recipe “the best brownies ever.” However, it’s not me that gave these Double Chocolate Caramel Crunch Brownies that title! Everyone who tries them agrees — these chewy, chocolatey, creamy, crunchy squares are out-of-this-world amazing!

Layers and layers of flavor and textures make these Double Chocolate Caramel Crunch Brownies unlike any brownie you’ve ever tasted. Rich fudge-y brownies layered with white chocolate, chocolate crunch, and a secret layer of gooey caramel…my mouth is watering just describing them!

What I especially love about this recipe is that it requires only FIVE ingredients and they are all simple items you can find at your local Save-A-Lot. This is the perfect dessert for holiday get-togethers because it’s easy to make (the base is a box mix), but taste-testers will think you spent all day in the kitchen.

Double Chocolate Caramel Crunch Brownies Ingredients:
- One box brownie mix
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 3 1/2 cups Cocoa Pebbles
- 40 caramel squares
- 2-3 ounces white chocolate candy bark or melting chocolate
Directions:
STEP ONE: Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 9×9″ baking tray and set aside.

STEP TWO: Place the unwrapped caramel squares in a saucepan with 1/2 cup of the evaporated milk. Heat over medium heat, stirring frequently, for about 5 minutes until the caramels are completely melted. Meanwhile, mix the brownie mix with 1/2 cup of the evaporated milk until they form a thick dough.

STEP THREE: Place 1 cup of Cocoa Pebbles on the bottom of the baking tray in an even layer. Spoon out half of the brownie dough overtop of the Cocoa Pebbles. Wet your hands and press down to make it an even layer with full coverage. Sprinkle 1 cup of Cocoa Pebbles over the brownie layer.

STEP FOUR: Pour the melted caramel sauce over the brownies and spread into an even layer. Top with another cup of Cocoa Pebbles.

STEP FIVE: Carefully spoon on the remaining brownie batter, wet your hands and press it into an even layer – attempting to cover the caramel layer as best you can.
STEP SIX: Bake for 35-45 minutes, until the brownies seem set. (It’s okay to undercook these a little bit.)
STEP SEVEN: Once the brownies have cooled, melt the almond bark in a small microwave-safe dish for 35 seconds, stir, and then drizzle over the brownies. Sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup of Cocoa Pebbles over the almond bark drizzle and let set.

Cut into 9 squares and enjoy your crunchy, fudgy, caramel-chocolate brownies!

I would love to try some of the recipes, like the green bean casserole and the sweet potato fries
Under their Fresh Tips in the Holiday Cheer Section, I like their idea for a Hot Chocolate Toppings Bar. It sounds yummy!
I like the healthy substitute tip. It’s always best to go healthy and it can be fun too.
I see under the Leftovers tip section that “Storing food in small containers will cool food faster to prevent bacteria”. I’ll keep that in mind! And I’ll probably also try their Eggs Benedict & Ham recipe!
make ham the centerpiece of your holiday meal to save money
I learned-Leaving food out to cool before storing adds more risk of bacteria growth.
I like the tip about freezing the leftover for up to use 3 months later! I didn’t know they would last that long, I was thinking 30 days tops.
I’m going to make extra and freeze. Should have done this a long time ago, saves time and money!
I will be making healthier substitutes this holiday season – I started my New Years Resolution a month early.
