How to Make a Christmas Stocking Pop-Up Card
First, print the free stocking pattern (available here) and cut out the pieces. Trace the sock onto either red or green card stock and the fur lining onto the white card stock and cut them out.
Note: You can absolutely freehand your stocking if you prefer, but I’ve sized the printable pattern to make it easy for you!
Glue jumbo white pom-poms onto the white card stock to make your furry lining. You can also use cotton balls for this step.
Glue your photograph to the middle of your jumbo wooden craft stick. You may need to trim your photograph, as you’ll want at least one inch of craft stick both above and below the picture.
Glue your fur lining onto your craft stick, just overlapping the top of your photograph.
Cut a strip of card stock that is as wide as the top of your stocking. Glue this tab to the back of your stocking, applying glue to the edge of the tab only. This is what will hold your photo in place and allow it to “pop” up.
When glue is dry, slip your craft stick/photo between the tab and back of your stocking.
Decorate the front of your stocking with a special holiday message. Ours is just one simple example – this is the part where kids can really let their imaginations run wild!

This is another awesome one. Do you know of any crafts to make an ornament to put candy INSIDE of? I am trying to kind of do an advent calendar with different candies for all the days until Christmas but I just can’t find any crafts with candy inside the ornament.
I haven’t run across anything like that yet, but it sounds like a fun idea!
