Is there one room in your house that you wish you could change? If so, what is it?
For me, that room is my living room! It’s a bit of a hodgepodge of new and old, and while it isn’t offensive, there are definitely a few things I fantasize about upgrading. Like our couches!
I thought it would be fun to put on “paper” my dream living room design. I actually had such a blast that I created two completely different styles!
Dream Living Room Design #1: “Cozy Chic”
Whether we’re talking clothes, cars, or furniture, I’m all about comfort! My “Cozy Chic” dream living room design is a reflection of that.
Soothing neutral colors, with a splash of blue and green (which is said to encourage tranquility) set the mood. There’s a soft, lived-in look to this room, so you’ll feel immediately at home. My favorite piece is the chaise lounge — I can totally see myself here curled up with a favorite book!
And of course I had to pick a luxurious shag rug! It’s perfect to pile on some pillows and enjoy a family movie night!
Dream Living Room Design #2: “Retro Mod”
I didn’t originally intend to create two different designs. However, I found so many gorgeous pieces on the CORT Furniture Rental website, that I couldn’t resist!
My “Retro Mod” dream living room design reminds me of lava lamps and groovy 60’s style. Rich, warm pinks and oranges draw you in and invite you to make yourself at home. Geometric shapes offer eye-catching focal points.
This style is perfect for entertaining because it’s so bright and festive!
Create your own dream living room!
Both of these dream living room inspiration style sheets are created entirely with pieces available at CORT Furniture Rental. If you’re relocating, furniture rental is an option that can make the transition smoother.
I’ve moved a few times in my life — just down the street, and across the country. No matter how far the move, the more stuff you take with you, the more time and work involved. I always try to downgrade the number of possessions I have before a move, so there’s less to carry with me.
If you’re relocating soon, just moved into a new house, or simply want to upgrade your current home, you might want to rent furniture. It can help to fill in gaps or fully furnish a house while you settle in.
CORT Furniture Rental has entire room sets available, or individual pieces to meet your specific needs. From couches, to rugs, to artwork, you’ll find almost anything you can imagine!
