Paper Plate Easter Wreath

We are in uncertain times right now, with the kids home from school on an indefinite break. But since we can’t just sit around and worry and watch the news all day, crafting is one of our favorite ways to take our mind off things.

This bunny wreath turned out even cuter than I expected! The last time I was at Lowes, I grabbed a handful of colorful paint samples. We’ve been decorating our house, but I might have grabbed a few extra for crafting purposes…shhhh…don’t tell!

If you’re cooped up at home, you should be able to make this simple Easter craft with supplies you already have on hand. If you don’t have paint sample strips and aren’t able to go get them, feel free to use rainbow construction paper or card stock instead!

Supply List

Iโ€™ve included shop-able ad links for your convenience in finding the items used to create this Easter wreath; read our disclosure policy here.

Where Can I Get Paint Sample Strips?

Hardware stores and anywhere that sells paint for the home should have a display of paint strips. These sample strips are almost always free for the taking, as they are useful for deciding on paint colors for home decorating projects.

We had quite a few paint strips leftover from recent projects, and they were just so colorful that I was inspired to craft with them!

Use white card stock to create a paper banner that is long enough to span across your wreath. We left a bit of extra length at each end of the banner so we could fold it for a 3D effect.

Now it’s time to write an Easter message on your banner! We wrote “Hoppy Easter” but feel free to personalize!
