How to Make a Rainbow Pom-Pom Rug
Cover your work station in wax paper. Hot glue will seep through the plastic canvas — this keeps the pom moms secure, but you don’t want any glue getting on your table!
Put a drop of hot glue on a pom pom and stick to your plastic canvas. Watch your fingers, as glue will go through the plastic weaving.
Alternate colors and sizes, gluing pom poms to the canvas until completely covered. Remove any loose glue strands.
Cut a piece of nonslip rug padding to fit and glue to the back of your canvas. This will keep your rug in place on the floor and prevent sliding when stepped on. Allow glue to dry completely before using.
Doesn’t this fluffy pom pom rug look so soft and inviting to bare feet?!
