Shamrock Wreath Craft made with puzzle pieces

Puzzle Piece Shamrock Wreath

If you don’t know by now, wreaths are one of my favorite things! I especially love simple, festive, homemade wreaths that can be made together with kids. As much as I adore Instagram-worthy home decor, that’s just not us!

Our home is full of life, color, love, and a little bit of mess. I can always have a clean, tidy, magazine-styled home when I’m an empty nester!

But for now, give me all things handmade, homemade, and kid-made!

This DIY Shamrock Wreath is made in a similar style to our Puzzle Piece Valentine Wreath. All you need are simple craft supplies and a 100-piece puzzle!

You should be able to find most, if not all, of the supplies we used from your local dollar store. I’ve also created a list of links to the supplies on Amazon.

Let’s get crafting!

Print out the shamrock wreath pattern, trace onto cardboard, and cut out. A craft knife and self-healing mat makes this step a breeze!

Divide puzzle pieces into four groups of 25 pieces. Paint each group of pieces a different color green, so that you have 25 puzzle pieces in each color. If needed, apply a second coat of paint.

Use a hot glue gun to attach the puzzle pieces to your cardboard wreath frame. You can place the pieces in a pattern, or glue them at random like we did.
