Helpful Kitchen Tools

Instructions

  1. Add candy melts to a microwave safe bowl and heat in 20 second increments, stirring between, until melted and smooth.
  2. Dip 3 pretzel twists in the candy melts until they are all completely coated. Place the candy coated pretzel twists on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, arranging them so the curved bottom of all 3 pretzels touch in the middle and they are in a shamrock shape.
  3. Dip half of a mini pretzel stick in the candy melts and attach to the pretzel shamrock in the bottom, like the stem.
  4. Drizzle extra melted candy in the middle of the shamrock so there will be enough candy to keep the pretzels stuck together. Top with green sugar sprinkles and let dry.

Prep Tips

  • Chocolate – You can use either green melting chocolate or green candy melts (which aren’t technically chocolate but are designed for melting and candy making).  We used both light and dark green candy melts to make a variety of colorful shamrocks!
  • Sprinkles – These shamrock pretzels look super cute all on their own, but a sprinkle of green sanding sugar hides any imperfections and adds a festive touch. You can use any type of sprinkles that you like!
