10 Must-Haves for Your Purse Essentials Kit
This Purse Essentials Kit is part of a shop that has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are 100% mine. #BeHealthyForEveryPartofLife #CollectiveBias
Have you ever wanted to switch up your purse for the day (maybe to match an outfit), but didn’t because it’s such as hassle to transfer all of your must-have items from one purse to the other? I’m guilty of this and usually end up carrying the same purse day-in and day-out for months (ok, maybe years!)
I finally had an A-HA moment: why not create a purse essentials kit, aka “Mom Essentials Kit” that contains all of your daily necessities? This little bag could just be tossed into whichever purse you feel like carrying for the day and you won’t have to worry about forgetting anything. Why didn’t I think of this sooner??
If you’re like me, you probably have more than a few little makeup bags laying around that you got as a freebie with a cosmetics or fragrance purchase. I found this super-cute bag in my closet — I have no idea where it came from, but it is perfect for my purse essentials kit!
So what are the purse essentials in my “Mom Essentials Kit?”
My number one must-have is ChapStick and I especially LOVE the new ChapStick Total Hydration. This is probably the one item I can’t be without anywhere! It’s 100% natural and it instantly smooths and moisturizes, so my lips always feel amazing. There’s actually a Lip Care aisle at Walmart — awesome!
I also don’t like to be caught without an Advil Tablet Vial, because you never know when a headache will strike and as a mom, I can’t afford to be out of commission! I choose Advil because they are the original round tablets providing safe, effective pain relief for over 25 years. This travel sized Advil Tablet Vial is the perfect size for my purse essentials kit — it’s about the same size as the ChapStick!

Other items that are incredibly useful (and I always regret if I don’t have them) are: hair ties, fingernail clippers, toothbrush & toothpaste, adhesive bandages, hand sanitizer, tissues, and a compact hair brush.

In the dyi mommy s essential kit I will add a femine product, only because having 2 girls, they might not always carry somethings on them and some benydryl only in case for some reason they have an allergic reaction it will help before going to the E.R!
Thanks for sharing your tips Sarah 🙂
I would add a mini tube of hand cream, Tumms, mini disinfectant wound spray, a small bottle of calamine lotion, a mono dosis soothing eye drops, a small pack of wet wipes and an individually packed Dettol wipe for those dirty toilets on the road!
Thanks for the suggestions Isabelle!
