Healthy Pumpkin Spice Latte & Coffee Creamer

I love all things pumpkin, but some of those rich fall desserts and coffee drinks are off-limits when you’re lactose intolerant.

Sad face 🙁

That’s why I was sooooo excited when my blogging BFF Jennifer at Sugar Spice & Glitter created this healthy homemade pumpkin spice latte recipe for me. It’s dairy free!!

What makes this recipe so special?

  1. It’s easy!
  2. It’s healthy!
  3. You won’t get a tummy-ache!

Pumpkin Spice Coffee Creamer Ingredients

How this works is we first make a batch of dairy free pumpkin spice coffee creamer, then we’ll use this to make our latte! One batch of coffee creamer can make up to a dozen or even two dozen servings, since you’ll only need a couple spoonfuls for each drink.

  • 2 cups unsweetened coconut milk
  • 1/3 cup of pumpkin puree
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar-free maple syrup*(optional)

Kitchen Tools Used

  • Milk Frother
  • Small Blender

How to make a Keto Pumpkin Spice Latte

Combine all ingredients in a blender and mix until smooth and creamy. If desired, add a teaspoon of sugar free maple syrup or a pinch of your favorite keto sweetener.

Tip: We use our NutriBullet Ninja personal-size blender for smaller batch recipes like this one. Super easy to use and clean! (You can find them here on Amazon).

Pour your PSL coffee creamer into a mason jar or airtight container for storage, as you won’t need it all for one latte. You’ll have enough for a whole week of pumpkin spice lattes!

Add 1-2 spoonfuls of your PSL creamer to hot brewed coffee or espresso and whisk together until a light froth forms at the top.

For extra decadent foam, use a milk frother and sprinkle with cinnamon.

Frequently Asked Questions

How Long Does Homemade Coffee Creamer Last?

Store the coffee creamer in an airtight container in the refrigerator and it will stay fresh for 1-2 weeks. Just like any coffee creamer or homemade recipe, I give it a quick sniff test to make sure, if it’s been in the fridge for a while.

For best results, shake well before using.

Is this Pumpkin Spice Latte Keto?

When I originally published this recipe, my main focus was that it is dairy free. The no added sugar aspect was just a bonus!

After the birth of my youngest daughter, I started the keto diet to help lose the last of that stubborn baby fat. I then realized that this dairy free pumpkin spice latte is also keto-friendly, since there is only 1g net carbs per serving!

My daughter and I just made and tried this recipe. Delicious! We just added a spoon full of sugar (not very healthy) which added that umph of sweetness to think you paid big bucks for at a coffee shop. Thank you for posting!
