Creamsicle Cake Mix Cookies
I’ve always loved Creamsicles and that dreamy combination of orange and vanilla flavors.
If you are also big fan of Creamsicles, then you will love the combination of flavors in these cake mix cookies! These Creamsicle Cake Mix Cookies use a blend of orange Jello and vanilla cake mix to make a cookie that tastes just like the nostalgic frozen treat!
The jello and cake mix also work together to create a cookie so soft and chewy that you won’t be able to stop eating them! The orange gelatin adds such a unique and crave-worthy texture! Oh, and they’re just 5 ingredients to make! So easy!
This is the perfect cookies recipe to whip up for Spring and Summer, with their bright orange flavor and vibrant orange color. No orange food coloring or orange extract needed! Just a handful of simple ingredients. It’s sunshine in every bite!

Prep Tips
- Cake Mix – Either vanilla cake mix or white cake mix will work for this recipe. You could use orange cake mix, but if doing so, you may want to add a 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract to the batter.
- Jello – You can make these cookies with any flavor of jello you like, to make different colors and flavors of cookies. Be sure to use the SMALL box of jello (the 3ox box). You could alternatively use sugar free jello.
- Storage – Keep in an airtight container at room temperature for 3-5 days. You can also freeze cookies in a gallon size freezer bag. I recommend wrapping individual cookies in plastic wrap before placing in the freezer bag, for best results.
