To make a glaze:ย Combine both ingredients in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 15-second increments, stirring between intervals, until chocolate has melted.ย This creates a liquid glaze that can be poured over cakes and loaves or used for dipping muffins, donuts, etc. Refrigerating your glazed desserts will speed up the setting process.
To make fluffy frosting: Allow glaze to cool to room temperature and whip with a spoon or whisk until you have achieved your desired consistency.
TIP: Not only can you create two types of coconut oil icing with this recipe, you can also make two different flavors! Simply swap dark or milk chocolate melting wafers to make chocolate coconut oil frosting. It’s such a versatile recipe!

Hi Stacey, was interested in making a natural white frosting to top cupcakes, but I would be adding some natural food colouring,
I am in Australia and I don’t know what would be the equivalent of white chocolate wafers please could you help. Thankyou Della
White chocolate chips should work just fine too ๐
Sounds sooo yummy! I’ve tried to print this recipe 9 times, and each time I click on the “PRINT” link, it takes me back to the top of the page. I give up . . . why is the recipe’s PRINT button not working?
Do you have a pop-up blocker on? My guess is that it is a setting. If you can’t figure it out, try taking a screenshot of the recipe card and saving that to your computer so you can print from there. Hope this helps!
This frosting is amazing! I used it to frost a cake and it was so good. I also used it to frost cupcakes and they were also great.
