Start by preparing the pizza dough. You can use a boxed option like Ciro “The Pizza Boss” dough mix or make your own with our easy gluten free pizza dough recipe.
Coat a flat baking sheet generously with olive oil. Cover your hands with oil as well, so dough won’t stick to them. Spread dough into a rectangle shape on pan until it is between 1/4 – 1/2″ thickness.
Bake according to directions on box (about 20 minutes) or if using our recipe, about 35-40 minutes.
Once pizza crust is done baking, allow to cool completely.
Apply a generous layer of whipped topping to entire pizza. Next, place blueberries in a square in top left of pizza. Arrange strawberries to form the red stripes of the American flag — we cut each strawberry into quarters so they would fit together better.
Serve and enjoy!
*Note: We used Cool Whip for our pizza, as it is lactose-free and a good substitute for those who are lactose-intolerant. However, some products marketed as dairy-free do contain casein, a milk derivative which might be not be ideal for those with dairy allergies.

What is the dairy free whipped topping you use?
We used Cool Whip for this one 🙂
Cool Whip is NOT dairy free. It contains caseinate, which will cause any dairy-allergic individual to have a reaction. Please be careful with this. I know better, but this is the kind of recipe that a well-meaning friend will find and make for us, thinking it’s dairy-free, but causing us LOTS of trouble.
Made this cake for my familys fourth of July in August party! Everyone LOVED it!!!! We all devoured it before singing some country songs LOL! My son and daughter had soccer practice a little while before the party, so they were cranky. They threw the rest of the cake into my pool LOL! So funny! Thank you for this AMAZING recipe! #blessed #lovemykids
