Easy Easter M&M Cookies

These cute Easter M&M cookies are made with 2 ingredients: sugar cookie dough and Easter M&M candies. The M&Ms are arranged on top of the cookies to look like little Easter bunnies!

This a fun recipe to make with the kids because it is easy! All you do is slice and bake the sugar cookies and press the M&Ms into the cookies in the shape of a bunny head with ears. These would also be a fun treat to bring to an Easter gathering because they carry well and are just so sweet!

Prep Tips:

  • Dough – The instructions above are specifically for the Pillsbury Sugar Cookie Dough shown in the photos. If using a different brand of sugar cookie dough, you’ll want to follow the package directions to ensure you have the correct oven temperature and baking time. You can also use your favorite homemade sugar cookie recipe.
  • Chilling the Dough – If the cookie dough starts to warm up while you’re working with it, you may want to chill the unbaked cookies on the pan for 20-30 minutes before baking. This can help prevent the cookies from spreading out too much.
  • Storage – These sugar cookies do not require refrigeration. Keep in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4-5 days. You can also freeze them in a large freezer bag for up to 2 months.
