Easter Egg Fudge

Funny story about me…

My husband knows how much I love Easter candy and he’ll spend all year stocking up to make sure I have plenty of my favorites when Spring rolls around. He’s a keeper y’all!!

One of my favorite Easter candies are those chocolate mini Cadbury eggs. They’re so yummy and I love the pretty pastel colors. I thought they would be so fun to use in a no-bake Easter fudge recipe!

This is an easy fudge recipe that uses chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk as its base, like many of our simple fudge recipes. Then we mixed in our favorite Easter candy to make a sweet treat that’s tasty and so pretty! I absolutely love how this Easter fudge turned out!

If you’re looking for a special touch for Easter brunch or a dessert that you can make as a gift for family, friends, neighbors, etc. then this is the perfect recipe!

  • 1 bag semi-sweet chocolate chips (12 oz)
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14oz)
  • 1 cup rainbow-colored mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup Cadbury mini chocolate eggs (with the candy shell)
  • 1 cup Easter M&Ms
  • Easter sprinkles (optional)

Helpful Kitchen Tools

  • Parchment paper
  • Microwave-safe bowl
  • Square pan or baking dish
  • Rubber spatula
  • Sharp knife for cutting the fudge

Instructions

  1. Line 8” square baking pan with parchment paper and scatter half of the M&Ms and Cadbury mini eggs on the bottom of the prepared pan.
  2. Place chocolate chips and condensed milk in a microwave-safe bowl and melt in 30 second intervals, stirring between, until smooth and melted. Stir in the marshmallows, just to scatter them. Too much stirring makes them melt.
  3. Scoop or pour the fudge mixture into the pan, then scatter remaining candy on top of the fudge. You can also add Easter sprinkles on top.
  4. Place pan in the fridge to chill until set.

Prep Tips

  • Parchment paper makes it easy to pop the entire block of fudge out of the pan at once! Then you can place it on the counter or a cutting board to slice.
  • We used semi sweet chocolate chips for this recipe, but your could switch up the flavor by using milk chocolate, dark chocolate, or even white chocolate chips.
  • You’re welcome to use your favorite Easter candy in this recipe, even jelly beans! Our candy choices are suggestions.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Fudge Need To Be Refrigerated?

Aside from the chilling part of the recipe, your homemade fudge does not need to be refrigerated. In fact, it keeps best when stored at room temperature in an airtight container or freezer bag. Be sure to store away from any sources of heat or light that could cause it to soften or melt.

Can You Freeze Homemade Fudge?

Yes, you can freeze homemade fudge for long-term storage – up to 3 months or more!

To freeze fudge, cut the fudge into squares and individually wrap in plastic wrap or aluminum foil. Place each fudge square into a large freezer bag.

To thaw, just remove as many servings as you’d like from the freezer bag and allow to thaw naturally to room temperature. Microwaving will melt the fudge.
