Spider Lollipops Halloween Craft
Use pipe cleaners and googly eyes to transform ordinary lollipops into creepy cool spiders with this easy Halloween craft!
Spider Lollipops
These Spider Lollipops are an easy Halloween craft that turns an ordinary lollipop into a cute and creepy spider with just a few simple craft supplies. Because the candy stays completely wrapped, they’re a great option for classroom Halloween parties and school treats. They’re also fun for Halloween parties or as an easy low-mess craft to make with the kids at home.
We kept our Tootsie Pop spiders simple with black pipe cleaner legs and googly eyes, but there are plenty of ways to give them their own personalities! Add colorful pipe cleaners, different-sized eyes, or other decorations to make your spiders as silly, spooky, or scary as you like. Kids can even decorate their own, so no two spiders have to look exactly alike!

Supply List
- 10 Tootsie Pops or similar lollipops
- 20 black pipe cleaners
- 10 black pom poms (1/2 inch)
- 20 googly eyes
- Hot glue gun
Instructions
- Cut each of the black pipe cleaners in half.
- Wrap four of the pipe cleaner sections around one lollipop stick to make the spider legs and bend the ends of the pipe cleaners to form the feet.
- Glue one pom pom on top of the middle of the legs. This will be the spider’s head.
- Glue two googly eyes on top of the pom pom and allow to dry.
Prep Tips
- Glue – Hot glue dries fast, so you’ll want to work quickly. Adults should handle this step or supervise older, capable kids. Craft glue can be used as an alternative. Be sure that the glue is completely dry before moving or storing.
- Lollipops – We found that Tootsie Pops are a great size for craft, but you can use any similarly sized lollipop.
