A spooky twist on a brunch classic, these Halloween mimosas are an interactive drink – they turn green when you add a secret ingredient from a syringe!

That’s right…get ready for a spooky surprise! These creepy cool drinks change color before your eyes! A secret ingredient in a syringe will transform your mimosa into a vibrant green hue. It’s a fun and festive way to add a touch of magic to your Halloween celebrations.

While this original recipe is intended for grown-ups, I also included a kid-friendly drink in the “prep tips” section later in the blog post.

  • Orange Juice
  • Blue Curaรงao
  • Champagne

Instructions

  1. Fill a champagne glass 1/3 with champagne & 1/3 orange juice.
  2. Fill the syringe with blue curaรงao.
  3. Squirt the syringe into the mimosa to turn it green.
  4. We garnished our drinks with fake eyeballs for a really spooky twist!

Prep Tips

  • Non-Alcoholic Version – To make this a family-friendly recipe, substitute lemon-lime soda for the sparkling wine. A few drops of blue food coloring can be used to make the green color. If using the syringes, you can mix the food coloring with simple syrup, and then add to the syringe. That way you get the same fun color-changing effect!
