Sliced Caramel Apple Pops
These caramel apple pops put a fun twist on the classic, with sliced apples dipped in chocolate and finished with caramel and your favorite toppings for a fall treat that’s easier to make and eat!

Caramel Apple Slice Pops
Caramel apples are a fall favorite, but let’s face it, they aren’t always the easiest treat to eat! These Caramel Apple Pops have all the flavors and fun of a classic caramel apple, in a much more bite-friendly form. Instead of dipping a whole apple, fresh apples are cut into thin slices that still have that familiar apple shape, then placed on sticks for an easy handheld treat.
Each apple slice is dipped in chocolate, then decorated with caramel, white chocolate, chopped nuts, or your favorite toppings. They’re easy to make and even easier to customize, so everyone can create their own combination. Make a batch for a fall party, Halloween treat, or Thanksgiving dessert, or package them individually for a sweet homemade holiday gift.

Helpful Kitchen Tools
Instructions
To Prep: Line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
- Prep the Apples – Slice the round ends off each apple. Next, cut straight through to remove the core, on each side. You should end up with two 1/2 – 3/4 inch apple slices per apple.Pat dry the apple slices. Insert a candy stick into the bottom center and push about halfway through the apple slice. You made need to use a knife to help start a hole first.
- Coat in Chocolate – Melt the chocolate, then dip the apple slices, using a spoon as needs to coat the entire surface of the apple.. Allow excess chocolate to drip back into the bowl, then place on parchment paper to dry and set for about 10 minutes.
- Decorate – Add the caramel and heavy cream to a microwave safe bowl and heat in 30 second intervals, stirring in between, until fully melted and smooth. Allow to cool slightly, then drizzle over the apple slices. Next, melt the white chocolate and drizzle. If using nuts, add them while the caramel and white chocolate are still wet.
- Chill – Allow to set at room temperature until the chocolate and caramel have completely hardened. You can also place in the fridge to speed up the process.

Prep Tips
- Storage – For the best results, store caramel apple slices in a single layer in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Place a sheet of parchment or wax paper between layers if you need to stack them, which helps keep the chocolate and toppings from sticking together. They are best enjoyed within 1-2 days, as the cut apples will gradually soften and release moisture.
- Yield – For perfectly even apple slices, you will end up with two servings per apple. If you want to use more of the apple, you can make imperfect-looking apple slice pops using the rest of the pieces you cut off the core.
