Easter Peeps Martini

If you love Peeps then this Easter martini is a must-try! Not only is it a vibrant yellow color just like the classic Peeps, but these Peeps martinis are marshmallow flavored too!

To make this drink, we’ll start by creating a marshmallow-flavored Peeps infused vodka. You’ll need about 24 hours for the Peeps marshmallows to start to dissolve into the liquor.

Next, we’ll mix up a pitcher of the cocktails that you can keep chilled in the fridge. That way all you have to do is pour and serve!

This is such an easy recipe and it makes a batch big enough to share with friends. Perfect for Easter brunch!

Ingredients

  • 6 Yellow Peeps Marshmallow Candy
  • 2 cups Whipped Vodka
  • 1 cup Limoncello (or similar lemon liqueur)
  • 2 cups Sweet and Sour mix

Garnishes

  • Yellow Sugar Sprinkles
  • Whole Yellow Bunny Peeps

Supplies Used

  • Quart size mason jar
  • Mesh strainer
  • Cocktail shaker — I was a bartender for years before I had kids and this was my favorite style of cocktail shaker.

Instructions

  1. Place the Peeps into a quart mason jar. Pour the vodka over the Peeps and screw the lid onto the jar.
  2. Place the jar of vodka in the refrigerator for 24 hours. Give the jar a good shake every few hours.
  3. When 24 hours is up, the Peeps may not be completely dissolved…and that’s ok! Pour the infused vodka through a mesh strainer to remove any remaining pieces of marshmallow.
  4. Pour the Peeps infused vodka into a drink pitcher, along with the lemon liquor and sweet and sour mix. Stir to combine and keep refrigerated until you’re ready to serve.

To Serve:

  • Rim the martini glasses with sugar sprinkles.
  • Pour the cocktail mixture into your prepared glass and garnish with a Peeps marshmallow.

Prep Tips

  • If you like your martinis extra cold, you can pour the Peeps martini mixture into a cocktail shaker with ice, shake, and then pour into the martini glass.
  • We used yellow Peeps because they create a vibrant yellow color when the infused vodka is mixed with the limoncello. However, you can experiment with different color Peeps candy to create different pastel colored drinks.
  • We used bunny Peeps because they fit on the rim of a martini glass very well. However, you can also use the classic chick Peeps too.
  • For the best flavor, I recommend using whipped vodka or as similar whipped cream flavored vodka. This will combine with the Peeps to create a rich marshmallow flavor. In a pinch, you could probably use vanilla vodka.
