Halloween Cheesecake Brownies
These Halloween cheesecake brownies are made with a fudgy brownie layer and a colorful cream cheese swirl. They’re the perfect spook-tacular Halloween party treat!
Halloween Cream Cheese Swirl Brownies
Brownies are one of my all-time favorite desserts and I’m so excited to share this new recipe to make Halloween-themed brownies! If you’ve ever tried earthquake cake (brownie cake with a cream cheese swirl), this is very similar.
I loved this recipe from fellow blogger Persnickety Plates and thought it would be fun to make our own version with lots of Halloween colors and sprinkles!
First, we started with a layer of homemade brownie batter. Then we topped it with a cream cheese layer in 3 different colors that remind me of Halloween. Finally, we added more brownie batter and gave it a swirl before baking. So perfect for spooky season!
And I must say that these colorful Halloween brownies taste as amazing as they look! Both grown-ups and kids will love these decadently delicious Halloween treats!

Prep Tips
- Serving – If you have time, I recommend chilling the cheesecake brownies in the refrigerator for a couple hours before cutting into squares. Allowing the cheesecake to firm up a bit will make it much easier to slice.
- Brownies – We made brownies from scratch, but to save time, you could use a brownie box mix.
- Food Coloring – I like to use purple, green, and orange gel food coloring because the gel color is vibrant and you only need to use a couple drops. You can also switch things up by using a different spooky color altogether such as blood red!
- Decorate – While these cheesecake brownies are festive all on their own, feel free to add your own toppings such as chocolate chips, Halloween sprinkles, candy corn, etc.
- Storage – Because they are made with cream cheese, these brownies need to be kept refrigerated. Store in an airtight container (or cover the pan in foil) in the fridge for 3-5 days.
