One-Pot Portuguese Sausage and Kale Soup

  • 1/2 lb dry chorizo sausage, chopped
  • 64 ounces chicken broth
  • 1 bunch Kale, chopped
  • 4 Potatoes, cubed (any type)
  • 1 cup carrots, sliced
  • 1 Leek stalk, thinly sliced
  • 1 whole onion, quartered
  • 1 TB fresh garlic, chopped
  • 1 TB garlic powder
  • 1 TB onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
