A groovy blend of tropical fruit flavors, topped with Scoob’s favorite cookie — these Scooby Snack Jello Shots are a unique and tasty party favor!
Scooby Snacks Jello Shots
I’ve shared quite a few Jello shot recipes here on the blog, but this is one of my new favorites! Probably because it is so unique!
These bright green jello shots look just like the bright green Mystery Machine, and then they are topped with a real Scooby Snack cookie (yep, they have those…my kids love them!) It looks like a dog biscuit, but it’s actually graham cracker!
Flavor-wise, these lime jello shots are a blend of tropical fruit flavors: melon, banana, lime, and coconut. It’s like a tropical vacation for your taste buds!
They are also easy to modify if you don’t have one of the ingredients (so you might not even need to take a trip to the store!) Keep reading for my prep tips!

Frequently Asked Questions
Can You Make This Recipe for Kids?
Obviously, the original recipe here is for grown-ups only. However, you could take the decorating idea and use it for kid’s jello cups. Simply make lime jello according to the package directions, then top with whipped cream and a cookie.
Can You Substitute Any of the Ingredients?
The great thing about this recipe is that it is easy to modify if you are missing one of the ingredients. Say, for example, that you don’t have any banana liqueur at home. You could simply use an extra 1/4 cup of the coconut rum in its place.
What is important is that you have a total of 2 cups liquid ingredients: 1 cup of boiling water to dissolve the jello, 1 cup of chilled liquor.
In fact, you could even make this shot with 1 cup of rum only, or 1 cup of vodka only (if rum is not your thing).
Keep in mind, that substitutions will change the flavor slightly. So if you’re using vodka, your shots will taste like lime instead of a tropical fruit blend. Still yummy though!
