This easy tropical rum punch is the perfect summer party cocktail recipe – and it never gets watered down, thanks to our fruit “ice!”
Easy Tropical Rum Punch
My husband and I made this tropical rum punch for a recent get-together we hosted for family and friends, and it was a huge hit! I’m sharing because it really is the perfect (grown-up) summer party drink!
What makes this recipe a bit different than the standard rum punch is that we used peach-infused rum. It gives it more depth and a hint more sweetness – it’s just “peachy!” If you like bananas, try our banana rum punch too!
For me, festive fruit flavors embody the spirit of summer, and our tropical rum punch is a delicious medley of fresh juices combined with infused rum. It’s like a vacation in your mouth!
Smooth, refreshing and a total crowd-pleaser — this vibrant rum punch is super easy to make and the perfect way to serve drinks to a large group.

Peachy Rum Punch Ingredients

- Grenadine or pomegranate juice
- Cantaloupe and mango (whole fruits) for garnish
- Melon baller (to make the fruit ice)
TIP: Don’t forget to put RESQWATER on your shopping list! RESQWATER can help prevent the symptoms of a hangover, so it’s perfect for those of us (like me) who tend to feel “blah” even if we’ve only had one or two drinks.
How to Make Peach Rum Punch
To make our tropical rum punch, mix ingredients in a large punch bowl, using these proportions:
- 2 parts pineapple juice
- 1 part orange juice
- 1 part ginger ale
- 1 part sweet & sour
- 1 part peach rum
(For example, 1 “part” might equal 1 cup, depending on the amount of punch you want to make)
TIP: Using “parts” instead of exact measurements allows you to adjust the amount for the number of servings you wish to make, whether it is one individual cocktail, or a pitcher for your backyard barbecue.
Next, add grenadine or pomegranate juice until you have a gorgeous red-orange punch, the color of a tropical sunset.
How to Make “Ice” Using Fresh Fruit
Now here’s my favorite part: use a melon-baller to scoop out balls of fresh mango and cantaloupe. Place in freezer until cold and use in place of ice. This chills your tropical rum punch without watering it down! Plus they look beautiful in your glass!

What is RESQWATER?
Earlier I mentioned RESQWATER and how it can help prevent hangovers (when enjoyed during/after responsible drinking.) It sounds like it could be too good to be true, but there is actually science to back it up! Here are the technical terms from the RESQWATER website:
“When you drink, your body breaks down alcohol into toxic molecules including acetaldehyde and free radicals. Oxidative stress is essentially an imbalance between the production of free radicals and the ability of the body to counteract or detoxify their harmful effects through neutralization by antioxidants. Excessive alcohol consumption may increase oxidative stress as the body tries to break down and flush the alcohol out of your system. RESQWATER contains ingredients which can bind to and help support the body in protecting itself from from these toxins.”
To put it more simply, RESQWATER contains ingredients (like vitamins and antioxidants) that help your body fight toxins and free radicals caused by alcohol consumption. It’s been clinically tested in a lab, as well as not-so-scientifically field tested (by me!)
After being pregnant, I haven’t been able to drink like I used to in my college days (which is probably a good thing!) However, I still occasionally enjoy a cocktail or glass of wine with friends. Drinking a RESQWATER afterwards means I won’t regret it the next day!
BONUS: it can also be used as a workout recovery drink AND it’s stimulant-free!
Disclaimer: This product does not prevent or stop intoxication. Always enjoy alcohol responsibly! 21+ only.
