Ingredients

- Graham crackers โย crushed to a crumb-like texture
- Butter โย melted
- Sugar โ both granulated and powdered sugar are used
- Cream cheese โย softened (so it is easier to work with)
- Whipped topping โ such as Cool Whip
- Can of Cherry pie filling โย one typical 18-21oz can
Recommended Kitchen Tools
- Non-slip mixing bowls
- Stand Mixer or Electric handheld mixer
- 8″ or 9″ square casserole dish
Instructions
To Prep: Coat a square baking dish generously with non-stick cooking spray.
- Combine the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar in a mixing bowl until you have a dough-like mixture. Press into the bottom of the baking dish and refrigerate for an hour.
- In a medium or large mixing bowl, beat together the whipped topping, cream cheese, and powdered sugar.
- Scoop the cream cheese mixture on top of the crust and gently smooth with a rubber spatula so you have an even surface.
- Pour the cherry pie filling on top of the cream cheese layer. Enjoy immediately, or refrigerate until ready to serve.
Prep Tips
- Fruit Flavors – You can swap out the cherry pie filling with another flavor to switch things up! Strawberry, blueberry, raspberry, blackberry…the possibilities are endless! The recipe is exactly the same, just use a different flavor!
- Gluten-Free Version – The only part of this recipe that contains gluten are the graham crackers. You can substitute gluten free graham crackers for an easy adjustment.
- Storage – Always keep any leftover portions covered with foil or plastic wrap and in the refrigerator. Your homemade cheesecake can last up to 5 days if properly stored in the fridge.

Equipment
- 9-inch Square baking dish
- Mixing bowls
- Electric mixer
Ingredients
- 2 cups graham crackers crushed
- 1/2 cup butter melted
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 8 oz cream cheese softened
- 2 cups whipped topping or Cool Whip
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 21 oz cherry pie filling one typical can
Instructions
- Coat an 8" or 9" square casserole dish with non-stick spray.
- In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Stir together until you have a dough-like texture that holds together.
- Press the crust into the bottom of the baking dish and refrigerate one hour.
- In another mixing bow, beat together the whipped topping, softened cream cheese, and powdered sugar.
- Spread the cheesecake mixture on top of the graham cracker crust.
- Pour the cherry pie filling on top.
- Refrigerate until ready to serve.
