- Paring knife
- High powered blender (we bought our Vitamix refurbished and saved a TON of money!)
Instructions
- Add the bottle of peach wine, 1/2 cup peach vodka, and about 3 cups ice cubes to a large blender.
- Blend on frozen drink mode, or medium to high speed, until you have a slushy consistency.
- Pour into wine glasses and garnish with a fresh peach slice.
Prep Tips
- Consistency: You want the finished slushies to be smooth and drinkable, but nice and icy. If they are too frozen, add more liquid ingredients and blend until you can drink with a straw. If the mixture is too liquid-y, add more ice cubes, 1/2 cup at a time.
- Yield: Depending on the size of your glasses, this recipe will yield about 4-6 servings.
- Variations: If you don’t have peach wine on hand, you can make this recipe with a sweet white wine (moscato, pinot grigio, or a fruity chardonnay could all work) and peach flavored vodka. It won’t be quite as peachy as the original version, but still delicious and fruity! Likewise, you can make this recipe with peach wine and plain vodka. Peach schnapps can be used to add more peach flavor, if you have to use a plain vodka.
- Taste: For a sweeter drink, add 2TB sugar or 1/4 cup simple syrup to the blender.
