Rosé Gummy Bears Recipe
Rosé gummy bears are the sweetest grown-up treat! A super cute way to enjoy your favorite bubbly!
Rosé Gummy Bears
Earlier this summer we tried making our own homemade gummy bears and it was a blast! Of course you can easily buy them at the store, but it’s a fun activity to do with the kids.
This got me to thinking – what about grown-up gummy bears?? What if instead of using Jello for flavoring you used something bubbly and delicious?
You guys…these rosé gummy bears are seriously the best thing ever!
They’re perfect for a girls night out, pool party, gift idea…you get the idea…they’re just perfect for anyone who adores rosé too! And why spend big $$ on pre-made rosé gummies when you can make your own and make a big ‘ol batch of them! Perfect for sharing!

Ingredients
For your convenience, I’ve included shop-able ad links to some of the supplies used to make this rose or champagne gummy bear recipe; disclosure policy available here.
- 1 cup rosé or sparkling wine*
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 5 packets unflavored gelatin
- 1 drop pink food coloring (optional)
*You can use any type of sparkling wine you like for these champagne gummy bears — we used rosé for ours. Because rosé is ahh-mazing and perfect for summer!
Kitchen Supplies Used:
Instructions
Add rosé to a medium saucepan over medium high heat. When it starts to boil, add sugar and gelatin and lower heat to medium.
Continue stirring over the heat until sugar and gelatin completely dissolve. If using any pink food coloring, add now. (I’d recommend starting with one drop and seeing how that looks, as you can always add more if needed).
Note: Food coloring is used to enhance the pretty pink color of the rosé gummies, but is not a necessity for the recipe. They’re delicious either way!
Remove from heat and pour into gummy bear molds.
TIP: A dropper makes this step a breeze! This set of gummy bear molds comes with 2 droppers!
Refrigerate for 30-60 minutes or until set.
Remove rose gummies from the molds and enjoy!
Frequently Asked Questions
Do Homemade Gummy Bears Need To Be Refrigerated?
While they don’t need to be refrigerated, storing your homemade gummies in the fridge will help make them last longer. They’ll stay good for up to 2 weeks in the fridge or 1 week at room temperature. Either way, I recommend storing in an airtight container in a cool place.
Can You Make Champagne Gummy Bears With This Recipe?
Sure! To make champagne gummy bears, simply follow the steps above, using your favorite champagne or sparkling wine. You won’t need food coloring for this version of the recipe (unless you want to make your own pretty colored gummies!)
Why Aren’t My Rose Gummy Bears Pink?
If your rosé wine isn’t already very bright pink in color, it may appear more golden in color when you mix with the rest of the ingredients. To ensure that they are a pink color, you may want to use a bit of food coloring before you chill the jello shots, as noted in the recipe steps.
