Prep Tips
- Whiskey – Feel free to use your favorite type of whiskey for this recipe! I recommend sticking with flavors your know and like and it is probably best to avoid strong peaty flavors from Scotch Whiskey. You could even try an infused whiskey, such as a vanilla or fruit infused flavor.
- Garnish Ideas – We used fresh cranberries as a festive garnish, along with a spring of fresh rosemary it really reminds me of a pine sprig or a wreath branch! You could also garnish with a cinnamon stick or candy cane. Any festive touches you’d like to add!
- Substitutions – If whiskey is not your thing, you can swap just about any other type of liquor in its place. Vodka, rum, or tequila would all work well.
