The Candy Shop Cocktail is sweet, sour, colorful and packed with…candy!! The ultimate grown-up sweet treat!
The Candy Shop Cocktail
Halloween is almost here and I thought this would be the perfect time to share this new candy-themed cocktail recipe! It’s bright, colorful, sweet, and topped with lots of candy! This is the “grown-up” way to enjoy candy for sure!
The Candy Shop Cocktail is a vodka-based drink, but we used Arrow Lime Vodka specifically because it is a bright green color that makes this drink really pop – in both looks and flavor! It blends with the melon liqueur and blue curaรงao to create an ombre effect of blue green and a deliciously candy-sweet taste. Yes, this is a SWEET drink!
If you’re looking for a fun party drink to make for a Halloween party, or any special occasion that needs WOW-worthy refreshments, this recipe is absolutely perfect! Let your inner child out with this candy cocktail!
Ingredients
Iโve included affiliate links for your convenience in finding supplies used to make this recipe; disclosure policy availableย here.
- 2 oz Midori โย or similar green melon liqueur
- 2 oz Pineapple Juice
- 2 oz Arrow Lime Vodka โย This is a lime flavored vodka that is bright green in color. If you can’t find it in stores, you can swap with plain vodka, just keep in mind the drink will be a little less vibrant.
- 2 oz Blue Curacao โ This is an orange flavored liqueur that is bright blue in color and helps give this drink its signature blue-green ombre look.
- Lemon-lime soda โ There’s no measurement here, as you’ll simply add as much soda as needed to top off the glass.
Bartender Tools Used
- Cocktail Shaker ย I worked as a bartender for years during and after college and the Boston Shaker is my favorite tool! It’s simple and easy to use!
- Large Spoon โ A regular kitchen spoon will work here, we use it to layer the drink.
Garnish Ideas
- Lemon or Lime Slices
- Maraschino Cherries
- Rock Candy Sticks
- Your favorite sour candy and gummy candy
